wird geliebt!
Woher wir das wissen? Das sagt uns die Reaktion unseres Publikums, zuletzt zum Beispiel auf dem „Jazz in the City“ Festival in Salzburg. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Ein sehr gemischtes Publikum im renommierten „Jazzit“ Club in Salzburg. Es hat uns gezeigt, dass die Musik von Kling Klong generationenübergreifend ankommt und Spaß macht.
Auf der anderen Seite wissen wir es durch die teils überschäumenden Kritiken und Berichte aus den Medien zu unserem neuen Album oder unseren Live-Auftritten. Hier ein paar Auszüge:
Petra Rieß vom NDR meint in der Besprechung der CD der Woche:
„Die Band entwickelt eine ungeheure Energie, auf der CD und live noch mehr. In der Kling Klong Musik treffen sich Stilelemente aller Genres, Jazz und Rock, Funk und Weltmusikbeats, es ist eine irre, begeisternde Mischung. Weil sie rau und zärtlich ist, privat und politisch, frech, stark, aus dem Bauch heraus und dabei ganz schön schlau. Genau das hat uns gefehlt.“
Hans Jürgen Linke schreibt im Jazzmagazin Jazzthetik: „Texte und Musik kommen daher wie alte Freunde. Sie verhaken und verbandeln sich, ohne sich dabei bedeutungsschwer aufzuplustern und treten in eine anregende Wechselwirkung, markieren oder füllen Lücken, die das jeweils befreundete Genre gelassen oder geschaffen hat. Sie sind gleichberechtigt und erfüllen beide die implizite Forderung des Titels: Jeder Mensch ein Sender.
Und Jacek Brun vom Online-Magazin Jazzfun meint: „Auf diesem Album haben wir das, was in Kling Klongs Musik am wertvollsten ist – Spielfreude und Enthusiasmus kombiniert mit einer gewissen Dosis (noch) jugendlicher Frechheit. Die Band schafft mit bemerkenswertem Elan ein Gleichgewicht zwischen Raffinesse, Spaß und Kommunikationsfähigkeit, um ihr musikalisches Puzzle zu erstellen. Wir sind begeistert!

Kling Klong is loved by friends and press
How do we know? Our audience gives us a great feedback, most recently for example, at the „Jazz in the City“ -festival in Salzburg. It was a unique experience. A very mixed audience in the renowned „Jazzit“-Club in Salzburg. It showed us once again that Kling Klong’s music appeals to generations and is a lot of fun.
On the other hand, we know it from the enthusiastic reviews of our new album or our live performances. Here are a few excerpts:

„The band develops a tremendous energy, on their CD and live even more. In the Kling Klong´s music style elements of all genres meet, jazz and rock, funk and world music beats. ¿Cómo lo sabemos? Eso es lo que nos dice la reacción de nuestra audiencia, recientemente, por ejemplo, en el festival „Jazz in the City“ en Salzburgo. Fue una experiencia fantástica, con un público muy heterogéneo en el renombrado club „Jazzit“ de Salzburgo que nos mostró que la música de Kling Klong atrae a diferentes generaciones que disfrutan enormemente de nuestra música.
También lo sabemos por las excitantes críticas de los medios de comunicación sobre nuestro nuevo álbum o nuestros conciertos. Aquí están algunos extractos:
